29 participants from Vision Apparels ltd, DBL Group, Best Seller, SGS, Bureau Veritas, ILO, DIFE, BGMEA, BKMEA, UL Certification & Other suppliers joined the program and gave their valuable comments which will navigate our future research.

Prof. Faridul Alam (Vice Chancelor, BUHS) thanked Professor Peter for this research collaboration partnership agreement signed between Department of Occupational & Environmental Health of BUHS and Department of Technology & Innovation of SDU on 23rd June, 2020 under the grant issue of DANIDA fellowship Centre. He mentioned that readymade garments industry earns the highest GDP in Bangladesh, about 2 million of workers are working at this sector & 80% of them are female. International buyers are now giving emphasis on social compliance issues of COC, ILO convention, ISO, SA, Wrap, BSCI, local legislation, etc. Importance of this project is very much of our county. He told that this project context is very important for Bangladesh and hopefully this study will give a guide to research and auditing system.
